Due to a widespread AWS outage, Unito experienced a complete service outage between 2:50 AM and 5:20 AM EDT on October 20, 2025, affecting all of our services.
Root Cause:
This incident was caused by a widespread AWS outage that impacted multiple AWS services in our region. Unfortunately, we were unable to update our status page during the incident as Statuspage.io was also affected by the same AWS disruption.
Impact:
All services were either severely degraded or completely unavailable during this timeframe.
Resolution:
AWS resolved the underlying issues affecting us at approximately 5:20 AM EDT, and all services have been restored to normal operation. Our systems are automatically processing all missed sync operations that occurred during the outage window. This catch-up process is running in the background and requires no action on your part.
